Our in-house caterer will curate a diverse & extensive range of menu’s according to your specific requirements.

French House bookings will only be secured once the contract has been signed and sent to the venue administration (info@thefrenchhouse.co.za) and a full deposit has been received.

Proof of payments is required on all EFT payments on info@thefrenchhouse.co.za.

The French House reserves the right to cancel the event, should any outstanding amounts not be paid timeously as indicated above.

Venue Visits

CLIENT’S ARE WELCOME TO MAKE 3 VISITS

The 1st visit is to confirm and secure event date.

The 2nd visit is to bring service providers.

The 3rd and final visit, 2 weeks prior to the event, is to finalize everything for your event day.

• 1st venue visit

• Temporary date reservation for one week

• Sign contract & send to venue administration

• Receive an invoice number (use for all payments)

• Pay deposit

• Event date confirmed.

Securing Your Date

• We will go to great lengths to meet the client’s specifications.

• Please ask the venue manager if you want to move any of the venue furniture.

• If you have any queries, please speak directly to the venue manager.

• All of the event parties’ decor and personal belongings should be removed from the

  premises allowing 48 hours.

General Information

The venue will be cleaned, and tables moved into place according to your table placement diagram and according to your specifications. Please ensure you send the table placement diagram to the venue office TWO weeks before the event should we do the table setting.

If you require The French House to do your table setting, please ensure that all items be delivered 3 days before your function date.

If the tables are not done by 17h00 on the day before the event date, we will charge overtime for the staff to stay and finish the table setting. Clients staying overtime or delayed deliveries by suppliers will also be at overtime charge. R1500 for every 30 minutes.

The event party can do their decorations the whole day from 08h00 till 17h00 before the event day.

If no prior arrangements are made for platters, you are responsible for your own lunch and snacks while preparing the venue.

Please ask the venue manager if you want to move any of the venue furniture.

If you have any queries, please speak directly to the venue manager.

All of the event parties’ decor and personal belongings should be removed from the premises allowing 48 hours resulting in a storage charge.

Set-Up

 The French House Venue is used at own risk.

The staff at The French House Venue accepts no responsibility for the loss of any personal belongings and/or injuries.

Right of admission reserved.

PLEASE NOTE :  The French House Venue is a non-smoking venue, but there are designated areas for smoking.

All gifts, including envelopes with cash, is the sole responsibility of the client.

The French House Venue and their staff will not accept any responsibility for the safeguarding of any gifting.
